A real gem, we visited Cookham on Sunday a little late but they made time to feed us and the service was great. The food was delicious and competitively priced. Inside the pub is bright and comfortable. I don't drink Ale but my friends enjoyed the beer and as Im on a diet it was great to find somewhere with slimline tonic. Right round the corner is a beautiful church and short lane to the river. Our friends we visiting from New York and The Crown and Cookham made their day, thank you.

Lovely family run pub in a gorgeous area. Situated right by open space means that you can sit outside, set back from the road and let the kids run free. Food is delicious and the staff are great!

I was with my brother (Olivier). To be honest, in his review he was still too positive. The food was terrible, even the staff of the pub were obviously embarrassed to serve the food. When they served the food they did not come to our table anymore. Probably afraid of the negative feedback. The picture shows the delicious dish called the Sunday roast. (It was disgraceful). If you go to the pub I wish you the very best of luck and may you recover from the experience. For your own good, avoid this place.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this, as it was a last minute booking for a customer event nearby. A really lovely family run place, comfortable rooms and a great selection of beers. Clean, comfortable, bang tidy!

We went for a drink on the 20th of May in the afternoon. Staff were nice, but a bit run off her feet as she was on her own. we left after a couple of drinks and then decided to go back in the evening for some food. the food was ok. as for people complanining about sticky tables and other things, what do they expect, it is a country pub with dogs and other characters. i would not hesitate to go back there.
