We would like to say a big thank you to Lizzie and the team for hosting our wedding reception. The venue and food were excellent and enjoyed by all. We had a great day. My Auntie and Uncle stayed the night before the wedding and said the room was very comfortable and clean. The food was excellent - the best steak my Uncle had ever had. We stayed for our wedding night and agree that the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Fantastic all round. Thank you. Mr and Mrs Shearing

We had a wonderful stay at the Fisherman's Haunt Hotel! We had a warm welcome and a really pretty room, where a bowl and treaties for our dog Charlie were waiting. 🥰🐕 The whole staff is absolutely gorgeous with dogs and the dinner and breakfast situation is wonderful, because the dog is allowed under the table. 👏🐕 The food is so delicious and extraordinary, there are no "boring" dishes on the menu. The Chef Mark has really great talent and our server Lizzie was really the friendliest! We can truly recommend the stay and if we would have had more time, we would have stayed longer. 😊📷 We will be back 🥰

Nearly excellent. Room 1 is dog-friendly but in the middle of the car park so care needed. Lovely fresh decor but unable to open enough windows so very stuffy on our visit. NO E.V. CHARGING in spite of initially being informed otherwise. Pleasant bar area with limited food menu (go to the Lamb Inn!) but good breakfast with lovely staff.

The friendly atmosphere was easy to feel as we walked in. We only called in for Lunch on the spur of the moment as we were passing. We were shown to the table service side of the restaurant & given menus & drinks order taken. A large bottle of water was placed at our table & the drinks arrived, we ordered our starters which were very tasty indeed our mains were brought & again they were cooked to perfection all delivered with a pleasant smile & a friendly chat. The portions were plentiful & well priced it’s a shame we don’t live in the area otherwise we would certainly go for lunch there again.

Friendly pub located just outside Christchurch. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Rooms well presented with walk in shower and in a separate building from the pub. Little touches like a fan for the warm weather and a half bottle of champagne for my wife's birthday were the kind of small touches that make a real impression. Breakfast had a good selection of both hot and cold options and was able to be take inside or out. Plenty of parking available and ideal for an overnighter if heading to or from the airport. Recommended.
