Alan Brammer5 StarFour adults had meals here on Easter Sunday lunch time. We were all pleased with the menu choice and what we chose. The Starters were excellent, Garlic Mushrooms were practically a meal in themselves. The Main courses were a good plate full with hot plates and plenty of gravy. Good moist turkey and plenty of veg. Good tasty lamb. We did not have enough room left for a Dessert! Certainly recommend The Fox and Hounds.Tuesday 19th April 2022
Gail Tune5 StarJust had a very good Sunday lunch today ,the beef was tender the vegetables were lovely.Everything tasted freshly prepared yorkshire's perfect.I actually had a smaller portion,I'm a good eater and it was enough for me.My husband had a full size meal,and had no room for a pudding.The prices were very competitive. Philip Rathbone5 StarExcellent food, staff welcoming and a great pint of guzzler, we had the nachos to share I had beef lasagna with garlic bread and salad and the wife had sirloin steak, with mushroom chunk chips and steak Diana sauce, all very nice, and reasonable price, would go back, quiz night tonight with John Marshall from radio lincolnshire.Wednesday 8th June 2022
Anne Harrison3 StarDisappointing service, they seemed disinterested. 2 meals were good which were Sunday roads but the other 2 were chicken schnitzel with a peppercorn sauce. The veg were OK but the chicken was tough and chewy and the peppercorn sauce was too peppery with far too many peppercorn in it. When we mentioned the chicken, he just took the plates away with no apology. When we came to pay the bill we spoke to the manager who hadn't been told about it, he questioned the staff and the chef and offered us 1 free meal as compensation. A Disappointing experience its no wonder the place was almost empty.Monday 18th April 2022
