Sam Hughes5 StarFood here is high quality, far ranging, very tasty and good value. Laura and Lucy also provided excellent service and the food arrived speedily. Overall a great eating experience, one complaint being that the music was a bit loud for 8PM.Saturday 2nd July 2022
daniella deeley5 StarWe used the function room for my daughters communion party. Carly and Connor were absolute stars couldn’t do enough for us the room was set up for us when we arrived. Offer of help packing up and even with the still not working for the tea and coffee they was running backwards and forwards making them for us. Would Definately use again. food they provided was of high standard and I’m am so grateful to them for all the help they gave. Charlotte Cleary5 StarI took my son to The George to visit the Easter bunny for breakfast. It was an amazing service. The breakfast was hot and well cooked. The Easter bunny was an incredible character. The staff have catered and organised a terrific event. When we arrived tables were already laid out with name reservations and an activity pack was set out on each table. We had lots of things to do as the bunny greeted everyone. I'd definitely recommend that people attend this event with their children in future Easter bunny visits.Wednesday 20th April 2022
Mark H5 StarMy wife & I went to The George for lunch on Wed 31/08/22. It was our first visit. We could not fault our experience; efficient service, friendly staff (but not too friendly), food very nicely cooked and fair price. Even the background music was to our taste! An outstanding pub / restaurant, especially in these difficult times. We will be coming back once we’ve paid our gas & electricity bill. Lol! Well done all.Wednesday 31st August 2022
