The George, situated in the heart of Crewkerne, has provided travellers with a warm welcome, comfortable bed and much needed refreshment for over 400 years. Sally Hutchings5 StarWarm welcome, nice, comfortable, very clean room with big bathroom. Freshly cooked breakfast. Friendly staff. Hotel is central in delightful little old market town. Perfect location to explore surrounding areas.

Restaurant food dreadful, many dishes not available, and possibly all pre cooked and frozen, even a baked potato was not acceptable, l guess nothing fresh.Staff were good. Amazing that a restaurant closes at 8 pm.Monday 19th December 2022
Stefanie Gross5 StarI recently spent a night at the George Hotel, and everything was fantastic. The room and ensuite bathroom were clean and warm, and the room had a cosy feel to it. Perhaps most importantly, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to cater for our rather complicated special diet (vegan and various intolerances) and really made sure that everyone was happy and got what they needed. Wish everyone was that kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend.Monday 21st November 2022
Sunita Puri4 StarVisited this hotel with bed and breakfast. Didn't know what to expect. There is no parking on site, but parking is in lidls, or another car park round the corner. Very cheap too. Staff were great, thank you for looking after us. All was catered for. Food was great, so please make sure you dine here. So guys pls come down. Free WiFi which works in the room too.
