The Glasshouse is an independently family run business dating back over 15 years, with the proprietor having worked in the trade for over 48 years. Our team have a vast experience of installing UPVC windows and doors, double glazed unit and single glazed repairs. We manufacture double glazed units on the premises.
The Glasshouse team have over 150 years worth of experience in the Glazing trade and others, with three generations still working today.

Elaine Dixon2 StarWaited nearly two weeks for someone to come form The Glasshouse and adjust my French Doors as they were out of line and difficult to lock. Glassworks sound really friendly, I explained the problem, but they were very busy. I said okay I'll wait two weeks. The very clean Engineer visited today and said - oh yes we can sort that - it can be fixed. But you are looking at another 6 weeks before we can fit you in.???? Why didn't they send the people who can fix the doors? I have wasted two weeks. He was in the house confirming what I already told them was the problem. I suspect they prioritize big bi-fold door jobs. But not what they suggest on their website. So I am back to the same place as per two weeks ago. The young lady didn't suggest I'd be waiting two months in total. Very, very disappointed for what is supposed to be a local company.
