Really enjoyed our meal here. Went for the Sunday roast and wasn’t disappointed. Somehow managed to save space for dessert (triple chocolate brownie). Make sure you book a few days to a week in advance as they don’t have a lot of tables. And tips need to be in cash.

Went for our first visit last night . Booked an early table for 6.30 . Lovely friendly atmosphere, it felt really cosy inside with candles lit on every table . We both ordered the Ribeye steak which was full of flavour , tender and cooked to perfection, definitely one of the best steaks we’ve had in Lincoln for a while. Home cooked chips and onion rings were very nice too . Will definitely go back . The staff were lovely too .

Would strongly advise booking as they do get busy. There is a welcoming ambience and the seating is well spaced. Service is unrushed, which in my mind suits me down to the ground. You will need a good appetite as the portions are generous. I had a full sea bream served with crushed new potatoes, tomato vinaigrette and samphire. You have a choice of head on, or head off! The dessert of summer fruits and apple crumble was served with crème anglais. It was superb. Well worth a visit. We will be calling again.
