Popular old village pub, clean and comfortable, with good value pubby food from sandwiches/panini up (best to book), well kept ales such as Malt, Sharps and Tring, friendly efficient staff, big log fire, low beams, old local pictures and lots of brasses; may be background radio, games including Scrabble, dominoes and darts; children and dogs welcome, some seats out in front and in good-sized back garden, handy for Grand Union Canal walks, open all day, no evening food Sun or Mon.

Wonderful little village pub with friendly staff and good food and beer. I had the haggis with eggs and chips - and the haggis was real Scottish sourced and the eggs were local farm fresh. Highly recommended.

Lovely traditional family run pub with lots of smiling faces (the sun coming out helped!). Excellent well presented pub grub with some great real ales on tap. Highly recommended , and not just for the reasonable prices.
