Nick H4 StarStayed 2 nights. Pleasant room and bathroom. Amazing 3 person bed, extremely comfortable. Some maintenance needed round bath.
Although our stay was comfortable and quiet, I would suspect it could be noisy in the summer as our door opened straight out on the outside bar area.
Very helpful friendly staff. Didn't have an evening meal due to staff illness.Thursday 3rd March 2022

Well the room very basic indeed .
Bed (double ) lol ,me and the mrs couldnt even fit into it with either wrapping our arms round each other or falling out of it .so she ended up sleeping in the single bed .
Now the saturday evening meal ,choice of four meals but was told that tgere was only 2 as the chef was on holiday .
So no steak fof us .
Settled for Grimsby Fish pmsl .
It was frozen and tasteless to the point i left most of mine .
Now im from grimsby and worked as a rep for a fish company .
Bar staff was ok but need more traning as they couldnt get the bottle out the optic.
Then i went back to the bar for a whisky and brandy where the girl picked up my brandy glass and re used it , i thought keep my mouth shut and put a reveiw on here .

The pub had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the staff were fantastic and the food was the best we’ve had in any pub for years! It made our long journey much more bearable. Melanie Tait5 StarWe stayed in a triple room which was very comfortable. Plenty of tea coffee facilities and fresh towels.
The beds were so comfy and a great night sleep by all.
Martin was so kind and catered for all our needs as we required wheelchair access for a friend that was eating with us.
The meal was outstanding and cooked to a very high standard and the service was excellent .
