Just a perfect wedding thank you all so much. Becky was great with communication, I stayed in one if the cottages behind and had the loveliest couple of nights there before the wedding and that was great too, so peaceful. Thank you everyone for making our day so special X

What an amazing wedding venue. Since our wedding a few weeks ago, all of our friends and family still comment on how unique and beautiful the lost village of dode is. The medieval church has been restored faithfuly and with obvious love and attention to detail. The people who manage, more accurately care for, dode feel like such a tight-nit group. Becky helped us plan everything from the very first time we met, Paul was exceptionally supportive on our special day and went above and beyond to help make the day perfect. I couldn't recommend this place enough, the location, the building and the people, all 10/10. Thanks Dode!

Dode is a truly special place! Only a few miles from Gravesend, it lies up a quiet track and is nestled in the most peaceful little valley. The church building itself is ancient and has a wonderful energy inside. This may well be due to the 7 ley lines that cross under the altar but it is also due to the love and energy that has been poured into it by Doug, Becky and their team, as they have renovated it and brought it back to life. They have even created their own barrow behind the stone circle where ashes can be laid to rest. I can think of no better setting for an intimate ceremony to celebrate any life event, be it a wedding, a handfasting, a naming or a funeral.

After searching high and low for a venue for a smaller intimate wedding we stumbled across Dode. I contacted Becky who was so helpful with all the information we needed and booked a visit. We visited and instantly knew this was the right place for us to get married, Paul showed us around and he was great. From booking with Becky to the day she was so helpful with any questions we had. On the day we had Graham as our host and he made the day go swimmingly so helpful and attentive we didn’t worry about a thing it was all under control. Paul did our hand fasting ceremony which everyone thought was a great extra touch. Dode is such a special place to get married we had the best time we could have wished for. Thank you to all at Dode for making our day so special. Carlie & Doug 02.09.22

My partner, our little boy and I went for a visit to The Lost Village of Dode today. We met with Graham. He was a bit busy as there was a wedding prior to us arriving. He allowed us to have a look around inside the church and the garden. What a lovely gentleman! I'll definitely be having my wedding or reception there 😊 Thank you so much, Graham.
