Starlight Eliane2 StarWe had a nice walk unfortunately we took a bit too long. Only food after 14.00 was crisps and nuts, we watched desert being served to those already with food, but we could only watch.
We had the feeling the chef would have done us something, but the lad on the bar was not going to ask.Thursday 23rd June 2022

Richard Hadley2 StarNot even a welcome be with you in a moment from the 2 blonde ladies behind the bar. No eye contact even when we moved out of the way as they took drinks to a table. Luckily after 5 minutes of standing at the bar waiting a young man appeared and sat us at our booked table. No system in place for taking drink or food orders. 2 staff came and took drinks order and 2 for food orders after we had already done our orders. Smallest portion of moules i have ever seen for £16. Fish batter was very soggy and thick white stodgy on the inside fish was very dry and chewy. Unable to eat Fish and chip and all the waitress could say was oh well. Order a burger and chips and that is what you get. No side salad or coleslaw.. Amazing location. Could be an amazing pub. But on a very quiet Monday night in May staff were not Hospitable in any way. Hate to see how it runs when the summer is here. Hospitality trade my foot.Tuesday 3rd May 2022
