Located in this historic and attractive market town, The Maypole is a traditional pub serving a great selection of real cask ales, lagers and spirits. We have a very large selection of gins, a cocktail menu and a wine list with wines sourced direct from the vineyards.  We serve traditional and delicious home cooked food.  It is always best to phone and book a table if you plan to dine with us.

Great plant based/vegan meal today at The Maypole. Lovely staff and really pleasant atmosphere. So nice to go somewhere that has more than just your standard vegan burger or curry options on the menu! I had the Mediterranean vegetable tart and my husband had a nut roast - both were delicious! Thanks guys!

Amazing team , beautiful pub in a lovely village . Tonight they had Lisa Martin singing as Adele and Karen Carpenter! And she was absolutely brilliant 👏 . Will definitely come again, especially if she is singing! 😎

Was very impressed with the amazing spread put on for a funeral I recently attended at the Maypole. Made very welcome and the place is very clean and has a lovely garden area. Would definitely recommend for functions, just a drink or a lovely meal.

A lovely lunch, very friendly staff, thank you Ryan, Mollie & James, not in the least put off when we requested 6 Marmalade Sandwiches for our main course !!!!!. We shall certainly visit again. From us in Suffolk. XXX
