I booked an accessible room, but it had a low bath... Not a walk in shower, so if you are a wheelchair user, this is not the place to stay. The shower curtain didn't reach down below the top of the bath, so water escaped from the shower, making the floor very wet... So not good for anyone with mobility issues. I went to the breakfast room where there were only 2 staff. I seated myself and waited.. And waited... Eventually I had to call a waiter over to place an order... The buffet area was OK, but the coffee/tea area was in a different room... With no cups... The cups were on the buffet table. There was a toast machine, but only white bread, so I had to stop the waiter again to request wholemeal toast. Service was slow with only 2 staff in the breakfast area. Would I stay here again... Absolutely NOT!

Service and staff are fantastic. The buildings definitely need updating and yes, you are next to a motorway, but it's quiet enough for a good sleep. It's the staff that make this place as they are friendly and helpful. We will happily return.

Our family eats here quite regularly as a little treat. The staff are nice and polite, that’s always a positive. The majority of the time the food is great. Can be a bit hit and miss sometimes but that’s probably my own fault for trying to be healthy and not order a burger. Deserts are always bob on though and the prices are low. Highly recommend any burger and desert overall.

I haven’t been to the Mount for quite awhile but had lunch there today as I was out shopping The staff were friendly and polite and very helpful, especially EL who was serving behind the bar. The food and service was excellent we had the Pub Classic offer which was very reasonable .

If I could have given no stars I would have, the food came out eventually, potatoes and vegetables were close to having frostbite, the gravy was so thick it needed scooping out of the gravy boats and when turned upside down and stuck better than gorilla glue. The Beef was just gristle and gave my jaw a massive ache trying to chew it. Had to ask the poor waitress to take all 3 Sunday roasts away and nuke them in the microwave to get them to Luke warm status. You might take this review as exaggerated but I assure you it is not. I do not recommend this restaurant and am totally disappointed with my experience. Steer clear!!
