UPDATE 16th May 2021

From Monday 17th May 2021 the second phase of lockdown easing begins and are able to welcome you back inside the pub. We are looking forward to you seeing the changes we’ve made which includes breathing fresh life into the back bar and skittle alley making it a multi functioning room for all, we hope you will make great use of it.

Table service restrictions remain both inside and out, with a limit of 6 people per table inside. Face coverings continue to be required whilst moving around inside the building.

Where weather and staffing allow we will be opening throughout the building. Any specific table requests will be honoured subject to any changes in weather.

Please ensure you enter through our garden terrace making yourself known to a member of staff who will be able to show you to your table and take your order.

Remember to log in using the track and trace QR code, if you have any problems doing this let us know and we will log you manually.

As always booking in advance and notifying us of any changes in numbers or cancellations is really helpful, as well as letting us know if you are planning on eating or just drinking,

UPDATE 5th April 2021

We are pleased to announce that we will be reopening on Thursday 15th April under the restrictions of the second phase of lockdown easing.

Please book your tables in advance and be understanding that we may have to impose a time restriction on the duration of a booking

Luckily we have a covered outside seating area being created, although a little behind schedule it should be ready for the first weekend of opening, please bear with us whilst we add the finishing touches. We have also extended our garden meaning weather permitting there is plenty of space for all.

UPDATE 5th Mar 2021

It’s been a long winter but the arrival of Spring also brings the opportunity to reopen one step closer. All being well with the first stage of easing lockdown and the continuing success of the vaccine roll out we will be looking to open the week commencing 12th April. This will be restricted to outdoors only for the first 5 weeks at least. We are working hard to make sure we can utilise as much of our outdoor space as possible and hoping the English weather will be kind. Until then we continue to offer our take away menu Wed- Sat 5pm-8pm, please order in advance.

UPDATE 5th Jan 2021

With the new National Lockdown in place our doors unfortunately will be remaining closed. We are however happy to say we are starting our takeaway menu again, available Wednesday - Saturday for collection between 5pm - 8pm.

UPDATE 26th Dec 2020

As of today 26th December we are in Tier 3 meaning that we cannot open our doors to the public. We are taking a break from offering our takeaway service over the festive period but look forward to updating you all in the New Year.

We would just like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their support over this difficult year as well as our amazing staff and our suppliers. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year and look forward to a brighter 2021.

UPDATE 1st Dec 2020

As of Wednesday 2nd December we are reopening under Tier 2 restrictions. The changes the are force are as follows:

These changes will be in place until the 16th December when they will be reviewed and we will amend our policies accordingly.

We are continuing to offer our takeaway menu and daily essential shopping list, please contact us to order.

UPDATE 3rd Nov 2020

As of Thursday 5th November we will be closing our doors to the public as part of the 4 week lockdown for England. During this time we will be offering a takeaway service for collection (delivery available if pre booked), bottled beer for pre ordered collection will also be available. Please see our menu for full details. Payment by card wherever possible is appreciated.

We look forward to being able to open our doors again on 2nd December 2020.

UPDATE: 24th Sept 2020

In line with the latest government instruction we have made the following changes to our Covid 19 Procedure:

All customers must where a mask when entering, leaving or moving around the building

All customers must sign in using our Track & Trace QR Code on the NHS App or manually in our customer log

Table service only, please do not approach the bar and remain seated

Maximum table size both inside and out is 6 people (this includes children)

Please book in advance whenever possible, maintain a social distance at all times, follow our directional signage and be patient and kind to each other and our staff
