james barnett5 StarCosy and friendly atmosphere, made for a great pitstop for Sunday lunch. We went for the three courses and it was definitely worth it, each course was excellent. The "Hog In The Hole" is a triumph. Ale selection was solid too. The service was a little slow, but I did not mind as we were in no rush!Wednesday 15th June 2022

Michael Bithell4 StarOnly popped in for a drink on Wednesday's bike night. The pub was clean and tidy. The staff were helpful and friendly. They had a nice outside seating area if you wanted food, apart covered and some open.Thursday 29th July 2021
jehangir pocha5 StarI was with a group of very wet cyclists whan we decided to stop for coffee at The Old George. We were made very welcome at the pub and were able to park our bikes under shelter. We really enjoyed the coffee and indulged in some delicious, crisp, homemade chips!Friday 12th May 2023
