Nice pub with great food, staff helpful and very friendly. We had one of the best chicken fajita wraps and salad bowls ever. Well done everyone at The old Swanne inn.

Really good value for money breakfast. The choice of crockery is a nice touch. Where else would you find a good coffee for £1.20 with FREE refills ☕👍 Staff were friendly and helpful.

On arrival it felt a little run down and certainly not one of the best examples of the chain. However, the real asset here is the staff, all of whom are super friendly and work hard to give a top class experience. The service behind the bar was fast and there’s a nice range of seating through, both for groups and solo diners / drinkers, as well as if you want a sociable experience or a more relaxing one near the open fire place. Food is as you’d expect from the chain but it’s served quickly and presented well enough. Everywhere is clean, including cutlery and glasses, and it’s a nice touch for the staff to return to tables checking everything is good with the food - something I’ve not seen often in other pubs in the chain. Overall it’s a lovely relaxing spot during a weekday day time and I’d happily return, with credit to all the staff who make the place.

Ordered eggs benedict, they said they've ran out of poached eggs and would fried eggs do? 🤔 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 To be fair, the staff here are very nice and it's a pleasant place to visit. I recommend their pizzas and chicken pieces, they're lovely.
