Emma Pearce3 StarFood was really good, though seemed to get lots of veg to compensate for a smaller serving of meat on roasts. Huge Yorkshires! My son's burger bun was however sodden with grease from the onion rings on top that hadn't been drained long enough, so he had to take the top off and discard it. Service was reasonable, good selection of beers and ciders. Nice pub garden, though it was a shame that the kids play area was cordoned off and not in use.Tuesday 17th May 2022
Martin5 StarIt was Balstock so there was a few colourful characters there but this did not distract from a really nice pub. The owner has gone to great lengths to make his customers and local community welcome and catered for. The staff were quick and efficient and the toilets were clean.
