Mick and Hazel are proud to be the hosts at The Plough at Leigh. At our traditional independent pub, we serve local ales and seasonal food in amazing surroundings, both inside and out. Being family friendly, we serve a ‘real food’ children’s menu, have a playground and huge garden to let a child’s body and imagination run wild.
We welcome man’s best friend, leaded, in both the pub and garden. Scooby snacks and water are provided and if you love them enough we also sell beer for dogs!
If the barn is too large for your more intimate party or celebration then the pub is the place. Watch out for our live music nights too!

Annie Cordell5 StarWent here for a wedding. I was disappointed for the couple as you couldn't hear them. Maybe there should be a better sound system in place. The food was good, and staff were lovely. The building was beautiful, the garden and surrounding area was so breathtaking. I wanted to find out more about the history of the place. I was unable to find any information on it. Shame I think it would more character to the place.Tuesday 10th August 2021
Ian Whittle5 StarAttended a wedding here last week, wow what an amazing day. The venue had everything you could want. Great function room with real character, resident DJ was excellent as well.
What really was fantastic though was the food. Honestly one of the best meals I've had.

Charlotte Fifield5 StarAfter being let down by our original wedding venue during Covid, we found solace in The Plough at Leigh. Not only were they amicable and accommodating for our big day, but they went above and beyond their call of duty for our big day (particularly as our vodka luge turned up earlier than planned last minute and had to be squeezed into their walk in freezer until the big reveal in the evening!). The day was so perfect and the venue so picturesque. A massive thank you to Hazel, Della, Nikki and the rest of the team as you were all so attentive on the day. Everything went as planned and I could not have asked for more. Thank you ever so much for making our day so special. We will be back to reminisce (and

Aimee Hughes5 StarWhat can i say we finally had our dream wedding at The Plough and Barn on the 8th July. This was our 3rd date due to Covid and Hazel calmly professionally helped us reschedule with excellent communication. The day could not have been any better we where looked after so well by all off the team especially Becky from start to finish. They accommodated every request and i just got to relax on the day knowing it was all taken care of. We where so lucky to get married outside in the beautiful gazebo, have a lovely day outside in the sunshine playing garden games.
