For a sumptuous, traditional meal along with your favourite pint of lager, come and visit The Plough Inn. Situated in Tiptoe, Lymington, our pub and restaurant serves the finest homecooked food as well as refreshing drinks. We are located in a 16th century building that is full of charm and character. A full bar, restaurant, and sports area, equipped with a dart board and pool table, are found inside, while a children’s play area and large beer garden are both found outside. The current owners took over the pub in late February, 2013, and have since refurbished the entire premises, giving it a new lease of life. Families and dogs are welcome, while an extensive car park, disabled access, toilets, and baby changing facilities are available on-site.

Quaint pub in nice location with great outdoor seating and children's play area. Friendly service, good choice of beers/ciders. Had a ploughman's lunch, which was let down by non-descript mass-produced cheddar-style tasteless cheese. Such a pity to spoil the plate when there are so many tasty farmhouse cheeses that could have been offered. Would not eat here again.

Booked here for a meal and ordered the rack of ribs and the sirloin steak from the specials board. Ribs were great and plenty of them. Steak was a disaster, ordered medium and came out well done, when told waitress she said sorry and would talk to the chef !!!. They took drinks off the bill. Outside board says " looking for chef " pity didn't spot that on way in

Made to feel very unwelcome and served Ale that you could tell had been in the pipes a long time, asked for them to be replaced only to be served a pint of gravy from the other ale on tap, so after 10 minutes of waiting for the barrel to be swapped over and basically the same result, I elected to have a pint of Guinness Whilst going to the toilets I overheard another group complaining about the Ale as well, so I'm not being a grumpy customer, always willing to give people a chance. I think the Plough needs to up its game a bit.
