The Red Lion at Sibbertoft has once again been completely rejuvenated by Andrew & Sarah Banks who bought the Free house in October 2004. After our 3rd refurbishment and the removal of a wall, we have established a small village pub with a great atmosphere yet still retaining its ‘local’ feel. Modern lighting combined with traditional beams, wood burners, wooden flooring and a new bar all add up to a great looking pub. We still have our accommodation studios creating a one stop shop in the heart of rural Leicestershire & Northamptonshire bordering all the major motorways.
The menu changes at least every month to use the freshest locally sourced ingredients, ‘This is paramount to us, so we can offer great cuisine at affordable prices’.
The multi-award winning wine list, once the ‘Best in the UK’, has been scaled down to offer perfect good value drinking wines that are not available from your local supermarkets.

Landlady was so accommodating changing the dinner plans two or three times waiting for our friends. Lovely little country pub. Cosy, pleasant and the food was great. Barrie P.5 StarWe visited the Red Lion whilst staying nearby. With social distancing and other Covid-related restrictions in place, we had to book in advance to get a table.
The food was reasonably priced, but very tasty. Our party had 5 different main courses and 4 different desserts, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed!
The staff that we dealt with were all very friendly and I will happily return next time I'm in the area.Sunday 20th September 2020

Ate there twice whilst staying at Brook Meadows Holiday Chalets and Campsite in late May. Can recommend the Baked Brie sharing platter, the Fish pie, the Stilton Chicken and Thai Green Curry and if they were representative, then pretty much anything on offer. Also a very good selection of wine on offer.
