The Room Works in Bideford opened its doors in November 2019. Providing 300m2 of space on two floors, there are numerous brand new displays, from leading kitchen and bathroom suppliers.
Fully glazed, both upstairs and downstairs, the showroom is open and airy, providing optimum lighting for viewing products. It is also easily accessible for those with disabilities, with a lift to ensure everyone can experience our full range of displays.
We have three experienced designers who will make you a cup of tea, guide you through the process, and bring your living space to life.
Our team are very much aware that a beautiful kitchen or bathroom begins with the perfect design. At The Room Works, we use a state of the art CAD design system to bring your vision to life. Our interior experts will start by getting to know what's important to you and make a free visit to your home to take measurements. No matter the size of the room, using our design service will mean your space is maximised – we'll even design a lighting plan for you.

Dave Cooke5 StarWe decided it was time for a new kitchen! Our original kitchen was over 40 years old, we had renovated our bungalow and the kitchen was the last room to do. We wanted an affordable kitchen but did not want to compromise on quality and style. We went up to the The Room Works showroom in Bideford and spent some time looking around. We wanted to use a local and reliable company, we did not want a kitchen from a national chain who didn't really know or care about the customer.
The showroom was fab! Lots of ideas and a very inspiring environment. No hard sell but we came away enthused, full of possibilities and had made an appointment with Robin to come down and have a look around our current kitchen. Robin came down within the week, we had a chat and talked about what we wanted from a kitchen. We discussed our expectations, Robin listened carefully and measured up. He had lots of suggestions and ideas, keeping us within budget but giving us a kitchen that was bang up to date and functional for our family's needs.
Robin drafted up the first set of plans and we then went through a process of visiting the showroom, picking cupboard doors, handles, splashbacks, sink, taps and worktops and tweaking the layout. We then had a final visit to The Room Works just to finalise the details. During this process we spoke to our kitchen fitter, copied him into all the emails that we had from Robin and kept him in the loop.
