Stop off on way back from Winchester. Warm welcome, good menu, lovely table by the log fire. Ordered their home made chicken curry, and a Mac n cheese, absolutely delicious!! What more could you need on a winter’s afternoon. I’ll definitely be back.

Went here today for a last minute Sunday lunch. Were not disappointed! We snagged a table by the open fire and both had the roast beef with all the trimmings. Absolutely delicious. A classic tender and tasty roast dinner. Will definitely be back.

Friendly pub with good food. Lovely traditional atmosphere proudly independent and all the better for not being a "chain" pub.

Food and staff are best in town nice little getaway after work for a quick one and a steak.
