Didn't spend the night but amazing fish and chips. In fact the best I've had for a while and only £10. Highly recommended and comes with great service and friendly staff

Only stopped at the Star for a swift half after a good walk around Blenheim Palace, but the smell of the fish and chips was irresistible. It was 'Fish Friday', so the offer was £10. Why not and what a great idea that was. Didn't have to wait any time and a very good plate of F&C was served up. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere, what else can you ask for. We will definitely be going back to this pub.

While visiting the village of Woodstock in Oxfordshire, we called in for a quick bite to eat. The welcome was very friendly. The food service was quick and presented well. I had ham, egg and chips. The ham was hand carved, and the eggs were well cooked. The chips were frozen, but the meal was good value for money. The pub is clean and well presented and nearly 400 years old.
