The best mackrell pate, with delicious warm toast. Someone else in the party had mushrooms which were equally good. The main courses were large and well cooked. A minor error with one order was sorted out very quickly. Very pleasant surroundings, highly recommend.

Nice old pub serving good food and ales. Not so sure how they can honestly justify a 10% service charge for parties of 4 or more given that there is no real table service. Thankfully just the 3 of us for lunch this time.
