The Vale

We are a family run, family friendly pub which is located on the Mansfield Road between the suburbs of Daybrook and Woodthorpe in Nottingham. Our building is an impressive 1930’s listed Art Deco design building originally built by the Home Brewery and retaining many of the original features inside and out. The Vale has been run by the Byrne family since November 2006 who celebrate their 10 years of ownership this year! There is a daily choice of main menu and Carvery, the pub also offers a changing choice of cask ales and we are CAMRA members. We also offer some fine wines, a wide selection of gin and excellent coffee!. We are happy to take bookings for parties of 6 people or more!. We also have a fantastic self contained Function Room that holds up to 70 people and is ideal for most types of functions as it has it’s own bar servery, entrance and toilets.

Probably the best carvery in Nottingham. Always consistently the best everytime. Great helpful staff especially the lady on the carvery, nothing too much trouble for her. Well done all & thank you.
