Absolutely brilliant Mother's Day lunch, all thanks to The Venue. The set menu was amazing with a surprising amount of vegetarian alternatives. The food was delicious and plentiful. I mean, the portions were big. More than worth the modest price tag! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when getting some melon for my niece, even though it wasn't technically available. The service staff were outstanding and friendly. I am so glad that The Venue is around.

Absolutely fantastic, first class. Swift service, food was delicious, price was very reasonable. On top of that it's a dog friendly restaurant, a section away from regular diners but still a big area.

Great place for private functions. The upstairs area is a good size for all kinds of events with a designated bar area, including table and chair arrangements, they also serve dinners. Downstairs is for the general public with outdoor seating which can be lovely on a day with good weather. Right opposite the shore for beautiful coastal scenes, great for photos and walks.

A great place to dine with a fairly extensive menu and a couple of real ales to choose from. Dog friendly with its own dedicated dining section for those with 4-legged friends. Recommended.

First time I visited. Very busy but staff coped well. Toilets were clean and tidy. Food looked very good. Prices reasonable.
