tried this after holiday cottage owners recommended it. Sunday roast after a stourhead visit. carvery was best we've ever had! met a man there who said they go every other Sunday driving quite a way to get there it was so good . he was right. portion sizes good. tasty. lovely fresh veg cooked to perfection and gravy. felt very welcomed even though we hadn't booked a table in advance. Will definitely be coming back again

Met friends here for lunch, good menu to choose from. I had brie and cranberry as a starter, hubby and friend had nachos and his wife had halloumi chips. All were excellent and large. For the mains hubby and I had the salmon, friends has braised beef. Again all excellent. How we then managed the dessert I don't know but we all did. The food was excellent. The service was great very friendly with no rush. It's a lovely place with outside seating and inside and a good car park. Will definitely recommend.

Reasonably priced excellent food with lovely staff. We visited here in May for lunch en route to our holiday accommodation. It was nice then, with an exceptional homemade sticky toffee pudding. We're on holiday again and returned mainly because of it but the whole experience exceeded expectations. Louise made our visit special, an asset to your company.

Myself and Pauline decided to try this pub as it's local to where we live, the Scenery is beautiful, great atmosphere, all the staff are so lovely, especially a young lad called Cam who we've taken too. The food is amazing, 3 times we have visited now in the space of two weeks because we love it there so much it's now our favourite place to go. 😊

This is a nice place to stay in a quaint village. The rooms are nice and the bed very comfortable. The toilet in our room leaked which we made the owners aware of. Was not impressed to receive an additional charge on checking out as we were told they were only expecting 2 guests in 2 rooms and not 3 guests in 2 rooms, even though it clearly stated on our booking form 3 guests.
