This is a McManus pub, it’s very pleasing on the eye. It definitely looks the part. I feel like you need to drive here, as it’s a bit out of the way.. although it has a lot of passing traffic.
This is a very dog friendly pub. Lots of dog biscuits and dog bowls of water are available. Which is why we visited here. I don’t think I’ll be a returning customer. The food was expensive, it was served quickly, but unfortunately it was very hot.
The plate of food looked impressive. But the content wasn’t very good. Nobody came back to ask us if our food was ok.
This place is great for sitting outside in the summer and having drinks.

Dave Williams1 StarHad meal there a few days ago and enjoyed. Today, No food being served unless you book on app. Tried on app and it says fully booked. Really? I think they were short staffed and used app to close out to food. Literally the place was empty. Disappointed. Next time just say short staffedSaturday 20th August 2022
Sean Cherry5 StarCame across this pub after a walk round Brixworth Country Park. Very nice pub too. We sat in the garden with our dog. Dogs are also allowed in the bar area of the pub. Food was really good. Would definitely visit again if in the area. Would recommend.Sunday 14th May 2023

Would 100% recommended making a visit to The Windhover. Such a lovely pub with wood fires and an all-round good atmosphere. Food selection is good, price is fair and quality is very good. We took our newborn daughter and the staff were also very accommodating.Saturday 14th January 2023
