As a small rural business we pride ourselves in producing a range of handmade pork pies, hot eating meat pies, delicious savouries and succulent sausage rolls all filled with quality ingredients and the tastiest cuts of meats. We have developed our artisan pork pies to offer a range of flavours in various sizes, featuring our own hot water crust pastry. All our products are baked to order and delivered fresh so that you can enjoy them at their very best.
Our online pie shop makes purchasing quality products easy, we currently offer free local delivery (15 mile radius of Stafford – minimum order value £15), alternatively collection by arrangement. Delivery days dependent upon area/location.

Steve Hems5 StarI bought such an innocent looking individual steak and ale pie from my local small supermarket. It was a Steak & Ale Pie by the Wissagebakehouse..... and without drama I can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable meals I have EVER had in my 62 years as a 'bon viveur' (Obviously not as a child... steak & ale pie would be a bit too much). This pie had the most gorgeous pastry ever, and the steak was large chunks of the most succulent beef ever found hiding in a pie (not normally the best cuts.... but these obviously were!), the thick tasty gravy was just the perfect accompaniment to the pastry and steak, with the ale flavour being subtle but certainly present (NOT just appearing in the ingredients list like with most such pies). I don't know who these guys ? & gals ? are at this bakehouse; but they are in my opinion the absolute maestro's of the pie world. Thanks for such a memorable meal...I'll be back! (I want to try ALL their other products now... looking forward to them!!!!)

Edward Cooke5 StarI've only ever made a pork pie once. It turns out domestic meat grinders are a lot of hassle. I might give it another go someday, but there would be little point when I could just order from these folks instead. Their pies are spot on. I would go so far as to say they are better than the Yorkshire maestro Andrew Jones. Try one, or preferably several.Wednesday 28th October 2020
