Popped into Timpson earlier today to get some links removed from my Apple Watch strap, I was very impressed with the service I received, starting with the man in the shop coming and opening the door, making it easy for me to get into the premises in my wheelchair, he also treated me as a human being which is quite rare for a disabled person as he spoke to me rather than my mum who was also with me., he checked how many links I needed removing, and then checked again to make sure that the strap fitted how I wanted it to (which it did). If I need anything done in the future that this branch of Timpson can assist with I will definitely go there first.

Very kindly fitted 3 of us in for passport photos not long before shutting. Good banter. I found the personal information as you went in an excellent way to break the ice as we had some things in common. So kind to my children as well on National Kindness Day. I will be going back.

WARNING - Always ask the price before you get anything done here.. I have just been charged £19.95 to change 2 car key batteries... When I raised a question he looked blank and pointed at the card machine. I've learnt my lesson - Lesson 1 - Car batteries are VERY easy to change, just the round button type which you can probably buy from Tesco next door.. Lesson 2 - Don't be in a hurry when visiting Timpsons and always always ASK the price. At least you can walk away.

Wish I could give less than 1 star. When bringing my watch in for a new battery at another Timpson a few years ago, one of the hands of my watch fell off while the man was fitting the battery. He fixed it then and there and all was fine. My mother took my watch in for another battery today (Friday 9th July, 4:15pm) as I had paid for a lifetime guarantee. I reminded her to check the watch hand before taking it away because it had fallen off last time. Sure enough, it had fallen off. My mother asked the man working there if he could fix it and he said no. He said she couldn’t prove that it wasn’t like that before, insinuating that we had brought it in broken! He said that they couldn’t fix it there and would have to send it away, which is a complete lie because they fixed it there last time. I need the watch for this weekend so sending it away would be pointless. All in all, the man working here broke my watch, accused my mother of lying, and was overall rude and offensive. We will never be returning to this store and I recommend that no one else does either.
