Turned up without a booking, got taken to a table fairly quickly.
Service was slow, went up to carvery,
Meat looked very dry, Yorkshire pudding was still dripping in oil, vegetables were over cooked and dried out, then you move onto gravy,,,,
Can't imagine the last time surface was cleaned, it was covered with spilt gravy and it had gone crispy on surface. After finishing the ok meal. Waited approximately 15 minutes for any staff to acknowledge that we had finished our meal,
Only a member of staff came to ask if we wanted the bill. No attempt to clear plates nor ask if we would like any desert, thanks but no thanks.

markymac604 StarOur waiter was excellent and welcoming. Enjoying his job. Veg was fresh delicious. Meat was okay but beef fatty and chewy. Gammon really tasty although carved so thin it was like a rasher of bacon. Overall though, my guests and I really enjoyed our visit.Sunday 18th September 2022
scott yeoman4 StarService was great, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was hot, tasty and fresh. The only issue we had was just how busy it was, half the queue was collecting food for take away. This means the queue was twice as long as it would be, I would suggest a separate serving area. Julie Bowley5 StarGot a £10 birthday voucher so I thought I’d go with the family. Prices there are blue really confusing. The menu shows the prices of the meals but nothing else. The server wasn’t clear about how much things were. So we ordered two course kids meals on her advise. When the bill came we were charged extra for the ice creams. The reason being that I had used a voucher so couldn’t have a two course meal at the promotional price. I said we should have been told that when we were ordering a I made it clear I was using a voucher. We also had to fund our own cutlery and never got the promised colouring pages due the kids. Not sure I’ll be in a hurry to go backSaturday 1st October 2022
