Lunch today was perfect and what made it even better were the staff members. There are honestly no words to describe how amazing Jai (manager) was. As always the restaurant was constantly busy throughout our time of being in there and the guy never stopped! Work rate was absolutely admirable, hospitality was top notch, clearly cares about the people and staff, and an absolute credit to the company!

Ate here on a Monday afternoon with my infant daughter and was thoroughly disappointed by the entire experience from start to finish. We had to wait at the door to be seated for nearly 20 minutes before someone came along to show us to a table. The food was unappealing and tasteless. Included is a picture of 2 slices of roast beef (allegedly) that I received as part of the king size upgrade. It was so stringy and inedible that I didn’t even attempt to eat it. The carrots were undercooked, literally like crunching raw carrot sticks to the poins that my daughter choked because she was unable to swallow them. The roast potatoes were dry and tasteless and when asked for brown sauce, the waiter made it feel like it was a liberty. Definitely not a meal that was worth nearly £50. Disgraceful quality and would not return. The only positive part of the visit was a kind young female waitress (did not get her name but she had black hair and a ponytail) who offered to give my daughter a smaller cutlery set as no one else had bothered to offer it.

Went today with my partner for a cheeky Wednesday dinner. Have never properly spoken to the food server at any Toby Carvery before but we had Rob serve our meal and he was absolutely wonderful, really attentive and funny; made our casual meal out a lot more entertaining and enjoyable. Even managed to convince us to upgrade to King Size which was well worth the money. Food was great as always and we had a fab time!

Had an almost-passable roast here, but the lack of roast potatoes and the extreme heat of the restaurant was off-putting. It would not have been so bad if I was able to have a drink with my meal, but once I'd been seated I had to fend for myself; I watched other diners to figure out I had to go to the carvery to order food. And then it took ages to get a bill so I could get out and go up to Tesco to get a damn drink 🤷🏻‍♂️ Terrible service, mediocre food and no drinks makes for a less than ideal experience.

We enjoyed our visit and would definitely visit again. From the moment we walked through the door it felt nice The food was very, very nice BUT for me I don't eat mash or roasted potatoes So would have been nice to have boiled potatoes I had your profiteroles They were absolutely lovely and proper cream not that stuff out of a can.
