I submitted a request to these guys over the weekend and they responded first thing Monday. They called to let me know that they themselves don’t work on automatic gearboxes but directed me to a company in the area who do. He even went on to offer some advice on obtaining a quote specifically for automatics. Although I won’t be using their services, I thought the effort deserved a review.

I want to give 6 stars! I was sent here by my mechanic to check out a noise possibly caused by the clutch/gearbox. It turned out it wasn't the gearbox, but Ernie had a look anyway, even though it wasn't their specialty. It wasn't an easy one, they couldn't find the issue at first, but he went back to my car over and over again until he found the issue! Someone at another place did a cowboy job recently when replacing the battery, and it didn't sit properly in its bracket, making the rattling noise. He fixed it for me and the noise is now gone. Oh and while looking for the potential cause he found a massive bulge on the inside of one of my tires that could have blown any time. I can't express how grateful I am. Incredibly nice, dedicated people. Thank you!

First time visiting Top Gear and I'll definitely be back should I need any more work doing. Mark and the staff went above and beyond as I requested photos of the damage they needed to repair in order to make a claim. Professional, friendly service, and super quick turnaround! Highly recommend! :)
