An MOT certificate confirms that at the time of the test, without dismantling, the vehicle met the minimum acceptable environmental and road safety standards required by law. It does not mean that the vehicle is roadworthy for the life of the certificate. The test does not cover the condition of the engine, clutch or gearbox.

Car went in for a new clutch through MK Mobile mechanic who used them as a 3rd party. Got the car back 2 days later with a £500 bill. Drove it for a day and noticed you cannot get the car into 2nd gear. Clutch felt really different than before. Contacted MK Mobile mechanic as that is who the work was booked with to take the car back to Unique as we have lost 2nd gear. It is now 2 weeks later and no contact from Shawn at MK Mobile mechanics. Unique never gave me a receipt neither did MK Mobile mechanics. Avoid both! Car has now been sold to WBAC as we did not have money to replace the transmission. 2nd car that has been destroyed by unique, They bricked our injectors on a C3 back in 2014 as well.
