David Brown1 StarTook my son’s car to have the engine rattle diagnosed. A couple of hours later, I got a call from them. They told me a list of other issues they had found with the car, ( touting for business )totally unrelated to the engine. Brakes, tyres and suspension, asking if I want them to fix them. This was before they had even started to look at the engine.
They rang the next day to say that the timing could be out, asking if id pay for a timing check. I said yes and they rang to say it was fine 🤔. They now say it could be the catalytic converter, but still not sure🙄.pre timing check they said the catalytic converter was fine!🤔🤔
Don't know about anyone else, but I'm paying over and over again for parts they think it is! They are a specialist firm so I was expecting a professional diagnosis! Not a lucky dip on parts and be expected to pay for each part that doesn't fix the problem, till they hit the jackpot!!! So at the end I took the car away, still with the same issues and £200 for the privilege!!!
