I was greeted very politely & the optician I met with was very informative. My only disappointment after previous experiences of being a contact Len’s customer for many years was not being given any Len’s of my new prescription. I appreciate I will be bringing back un opened boxes to swap but I have in the past always still been provided with some to take away until I am able to get new ones & was disappointed to have not been offered this.

Shocking service. Ordered glasses and after 4 weeks had still not heard anything from them. Phoned up to be told that my order had beeb cancelled. They still had my money and nobody had even bothered to phone me. In order to get my money back, I had to visit the store as they could not do it over the phone. Just shocking.

My eye assessment was a pretty standard, efficient experience (as you'd hope it would be). After this I bought a pair of glasses, and returned just over a week later to collect them. However, the pair they sold me were already used, and I'm confident the person serving me knew this as they acted quite sheepish during the interaction. The glasses' frame and temples were covered in minor and major scuff marks, and the nose pads had what I suspect was foundation scattered on it. Knowing this, the salesperson still tried to let me walk out the shop with them... Not exactly professional conduct, but also quality control was poor. I returned the used glasses, and received my actual glasses about a week later. I've had them for just over a year now, and the overall quality of them isn't great. They haven't held together well, even though they've had average use, and are glasses I look after well (for reference, I've had my current phone for about 4 years, and there isn't a single mark on it). I'd recommend this place only for its assessment. I'd look elsewhere if you're in the market for buying glasses.

A really great experience getting an eye test today. All the staff were really friendly and efficient and Mel in particular really helped me find a great pair of glasses. She went above and beyond to be helpful and supportive.
