We found a clear example of strong customer ethos in this store on a Friday night with Jack (the store's duty manager) - with his small and very polite gesture of reminding us about the 1.5hrs parking limit (to avoid a fine). Amidst all the negative publicity in the news about Waitrose nationally losing their customer ethos, it reminded me that employees like him at the grassroots level do make a real difference to customer's perception of Waitrose.

Staff are friendly and helpful, unfortunately stock or lack of it is a big issue; the shelves constantly look under stocked with certain popular items almost always being sold out. Update 28/01/20: lack of stock remains an issue, no idea how they will cope once the new housing development opens. Staff are still amazing, cannot fault their customer service.

Vegetables often rotting yet still on shelves, coffee machine is usually out of service. Staff are friendly and helpful but the produce really lets this store down.

Friendly staff but the lack of items on shelves and the presentation really have declined recently. Looks tatty and unappealing. Rotting vegetables and just a feel of being really untidy. More effort needed

The management and staff all are so professional and very helpful. Got a very good customer service. Quality food
