Welcome
Waters View is a residential home, registered for fifteen Residents. We offer full time residential care,
dementia care, end of life care, care on a respite basis and day care.
We have a dedicated team of carers and, being a small home, trusting relationships are soon created between
residents and staff and residents soon become familiar with the carers thus giving confidence and putting
residents and families at ease. Our team are extensively experienced and have achieved a multitude of
qualifications. We employee the highest standards of Care Assistants.
We are proud to say we have been Covid-19 outbreak free for over 2 years, thanks to the combined efforts of
our Staff, Residents and Visitors.
The Home
Waters View was originally a private house, built in 1968. In 1989 it was converted to a Residential Home
with rooms for ten residents, more recent conversion works have increased the accommodation to fifteen.
Situated in the delightful rural setting of Little Oakley, where there is a village
store and public house, it is only a short drive into Dovercourt with its Blue Flag beach and town with
shopping facilities. We are also on direct bus routes from Colchester, Harwich, Clacton and Manningtree. The
house is south facing with far reaching sea views from the front of the Home across the backwaters towards
Walton on the Naze.

Toni Stark5 StarManagement will amaze you how well they know their residents without having to look at paperwork, even better that Claire is hands on just as much as care/senior staff when ever needed. To me shows support and willing to work with her staff when hands on.
Staff are amazingly caring and will go the extra mile to make people's loved ones smile.
Lovely home made meals made by the chiefs and home made mouth watering cakes 🤤.

Wendy mpnd5 StarMum went into Watersview for respite care and we were so happy with the care and attention that she received from everyone at the home, they made her feel safe and more importantly happy. If I had to sum up Watersview in a few words it would be - Considerate, Kind, and Caring.
If you are looking for a ‘home from home’ for a loved one then this is a place you should consider.
A big thank you to all the staff and to Claire, Ellie and Scott who my mum had a soft spot for as he always made her smile.Tuesday 8th June 2021
Amanda Campbell5 StarWhere do I start, finding a residential home for a loved one is never an easy process, especially at the end of their life. The help, care and consideration we have received as a family has been heaven sent. Claire the manager has taken a pivotal role in helping with lots of issues from dealing with GP's, hospice and pharmacy. Having dealt with all this on my own for so long, I couldn't believe I now had someone to help shoulder the responsibility. The staff, well just amazing! Genuinely kind, compassionate and caring and not just with the patient. We are always offered tea and biscuits, a smile and a chat. We visit daily and are always impressed by the love and devotion that the staff show to all their patients and their visiting families. Mum had been in hospital for several weeks and was at deaths door when she arrived, well thanks to the care, kind words, incredible food, mum is like a new woman. She won't get better long term but would not be here now if it wasn't for this incredibly caring home. Mum was really not happy to go into a home, who would be? She didn't want to spend her last days in hospital and is now she is so happy to be in a home from home! even our dog is made welcome and staff give biscuits to the other residents to feed him, melts your heart. The home is run by a lovely family, staffed by genuinely caring & kind people, I just wish mum had came here sooner. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this home for respite care, nursing care and dementia care. With the constant chats with staff that mum gets is so important as she is bedridden but has really helped with her mind and mental well being. This is a nursing home where you come to start living.Monday 11th November 2019
