Following a major refurbishment project between MSR Pubs Ltd and Star, Pubs and Bars - The Weld Blundell - known locally as The Wellie, proudly opened its doors in October 2017.Our beautiful pub has open fireplaces, comfortable seating, a well stocked bar - and a place to sit, eat and relax with gastro pub dining. In summer, we have a lovely outdoor area where you can soak up the sun with a pint or a Gin & Tonic. Our talented chefs are ready to prepare you some of the best food for miles. A medium/well done steak was ordered, medium rare turned up and was literally thumb size.. My guest was to embarrassed to complain. 15 min wait for pudding, had to ask twice even though we were the only people in the section, both arrived Luke warm. Over priced and seriously lacking in quality and quantity
