We have an onsite Café & Tearooms which serves a wide variety of home cooked food catering for all the family. It’s here where we also produce our very own Wellington Jersey Ice Cream.
Tables are available in our award-winning building or outside on our terrace which has stunning panoramic views of the Cumbrian Fells.

Louise G5 StarAbsolutely unreal stay. We were fortunate to have an incredible clear skies day, where we sat in the hot tub watching the sun rise. The views are spectacular. The food on the tea rooms was insane, all home cooked and we definitely recommend the festive lunch. The staff are amazing so friendly and personable and very helpful. Alana Anon5 StarWe had a fabulous stay at Cockermouth. The staff went above and beyond to help my partner propose to me and it couldn't have been more special. The location is great, not far from the town and the view from the lodge is breath taking! The lodge itself felt homely, snug and it was very clean. Laura Addison5 StarExcellent service from the whole team who were friendly and informative and really great to chat to, we booked a pod/hot tub for a couple of nights which was a great base to explore and immaculately kept. Really great facilities on site, everything you could need in the pod and little extra touches such as the welcome basket and decorations. We pre-ordered a cheese platter which we highly recommend and also ate breakfast in the tea rooms. Can’t rate highly enough, will definitely be booking again, thank you!Saturday 19th November 2022
Jo Richard's5 StarWow .... just had the best 2 night stay the pods are so lovely really cosy with absolutely everything you could want / need ! Location is beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing and wonderful views, especially when sat in the hot tub 😉 Breakfast was amazing as was the food in the cafe. Staff are really helpful nothing is too much trouble ! 100% recommend to anyone, we will definitely be backFriday 7th April 2023
Lily Anderson5 StarRecently been for a two night stay here and it was so lovely! Clean, cosy and an all round relaxing break. Definitely recommend for anybody wanting a chilled getaway. Staff were all really nice and helpful. The pod and hot tub were exactly what we wanted. Love all of the small details that go into family run businesses like this.
