The White Horse Inn is a cosy family run pub in the picturesque village of Litton Cheney right in the heart of the Bride Valley. Offering Casque Marque Palmers Ales and a traditional high quality menu with locally sourced and seasonal produce where possible. Andy and Liz have over 30 years of experience within the pub trade, and have a reputation for providing a friendly service along side great ales and lagers, fantastic food in a lovely friendly atmosphere. Boasting a sunny beer garden with a stream running along the side of it, an outdoor bbq and private camping in the warmer months. A roaring log fire, skittle alley and homely roast dinners in the winter, we aim to be your idea of a proper village pub. Where possible we use locally sourced seasonal produce from the fantastic range of Dorset's finest suppliers.   Our menu offers a selection of traditional pub classics. Our aim is to serve simple food but done to an exceptionally high standard. We also have a fabulous Sunday Roast where we have a different meat every week and have a lovely vegetable and goat's cheese nut roast as a vegetarian option.

Lovely pub with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We booked a family Sunday lunch for 20! Ages ranged from 2 yrs to Grandparents. The owners rearranged the tables so that we could all be together, food was delicious and hot and drinks in the garden beforehand was lovely. Looking forward to going back soon.

Lovely country pub and eaterie in a picturesque village in rural Dorset. I had the beef, mushroom and ale pie with a seasonal vegetable side and roast potatoes. Everything was cooked really well and the portion size is quite impressive. The wait for food can be a bit long at busy times but the quality of the food more than makes up for this and doesn't detract from the overall experience. The staff are friendly and welcoming and were very understanding despite our late arrival (two accidents on the A35, not ideal!). A wonderful experience all round. Highly recommended. PS. Ignore the bad reviews. There's nothing to complain about here. For those of you that have, maybe give them another try. You won't be disappointed.

I doubt if there is a more friendlier pub in the South. The food was superb and so were the drinks. Such a shame we live so far from there, but next stay at Litton Lakes we will be frequent visitors
