We are a Contemporary Bar & Restaurant in Long Bennington. We are a family run business that opened its doors on the 4th December 2013 following an extensive refurbishment. Please come and join us for a drink in our stylish bar, or come and sample our freshly prepared cuisine using locally sourced produce.

Mary Bomphrey5 StarWe had a large family gathering for lunch last Saturday and everyone was delighted with the well-presented, tasty food. We ordered in advance so the dishes arrived promptly. The service was friendly but discreet, just what you want.
My nephew rang up in advance to get a vegetarian/vegan dish but again that was no trouble.

Kevin Bishop5 StarWe visited Whittakers Bar & Restaurant for Saturday afternoon lunch with a couple of friends and the whole experience there was excellent from start to finish. A varied choice of decent lagers and craft beers at the bar and a good wine list too. The staff were very attentive and the food menu choices were varied and all sounded lovely. The food we all ordered was absolutely stunning. We are looking to move to Long Bennington this year and Whittakers will definitely be our regular place to eat out.Sunday 3rd July 2022
Su Bigland5 StarWow what a lovely gem we found when traveling to visit family, not only were we welcomed with smile's by all staff but nothing was too much, and the food well were do I start, let's just say if you want school dinner style food don't go here it was perfect from presentation to the delicious taste, we'll definitely be going here again end would recommend
