So excited to introduce our daughter to the magic of toys r us only to get up to the second floor in the lift to the see we can't actually access toyrus as there's only steps. Looking at it from above however the interactive section was empty and it just looks like a load of boxes on shelves so not appealing to little ones. Staff in toys r us t-shirts waking around the store looked utterly miserable aswell. One star for the usual book selection in the main smiths store but that wasn't the reason for your visit and we all left very disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful shop with a great selection of stationery, notepads and books, everything you could ever want when it comes to reading and writing. The staff are always so kind and helpful and the shop has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

I just saw a staff member swat a fly with a packet of pens and hang them back up.? Other than that I like the store but it's becoming rather outdated.

It’s a good store mostly, as stock goes. Great selection of magazines, arts and crafts materials and books. The issue is staff. Every time I’ve gone in there it seems like the staff aren’t clued up as they should be. I had asked for a lucky dip for the lotto once and the poor cashier seemed to be in slow motion doing it. Then on a different occasion, I was at the self serve, I had needed to void an item off, the two staff members were talking by the Parker pen section!
