Mark Turk1 StarInitial consultation went well, with a very helpful design consultant, but it went rather downhill from there. Some items we ordered turned out to not be available, the replacements came 4 weeks after the install had finished leaving us without a toilet for 6 weeks (thankfully we weren't living there at the time). During the wait for the missing items the installer declared the job complete and wanted payment while there was still no toilet and basin. Wickes themselves rang every few days asking if they could mark the job complete even though they hadn't installed the toilet yet. After it really was complete the dishwasher wouldn't work properly, I had to claim on the warranty but Wickes told me I had to take the matter up with the dishwasher manufacturer and clearly didn't want to sort it themselves! In short good initial sales, poor logistics, poor customer service, poor installation and a deliberately inconvenient warranty system.Tuesday 26th October 2021

their veiwpoint was about excuses to reject claim [they made mistake of including internal emails in reply to self]. many weeks past.
eventually after i caught them out they wrote:
'Unfortunately we do not have stock of this and no due date at present, therefore I have cancelled this order and a refund will be issued. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused.' 'Alison Jane Reid
