It is s great surprise to find this shop in the north of England. I enjoyed the variety of items but I found a bit of disappointment when the shelves are half emptied. Good prices and nice staff.

Extremely poor customer service , gets worse every visit! Staff member on till did not seem suited customers were using her till instead of self serve . Staff member did not acknowledge customers in front of me and then did not acknowledge me at all . It does not take a lot to say 'hello' . Would not use the shop anymore if other local Wilkos had better parking! Shop never has alot of stock either lots if part filled shelves.

Charge a fortune for parking and dont remburse you (unlike Booths) irrespective of how much you spend in the shop. Prices on the shelves differ from the actual prices you're charged at the till!! For example, gullyan choc price was 80p on shelf, yet charged £1.60 at till (double the price for each bar I bought)! If I hadn't requested a receipt and checked it, would have been overcharged by a subsrantial amount. Guy at chekout says it happened all the time because reduced prices hadnt been put through properly by lazy staff, and that it was up to the customers themselves to check prices they were charged were the same as stated on the shelves!! Terrible shopping Experience!

This is a good store for everyday items. There is a great collection of DIY tools, ironmongery, Paint 🎨 etc. The prices are good, staff very pleasant and helpful.

In particular Audrey, Stephen and Carol really make a effort in this store all the staff are polite and helpful i go mostly every day to shop and always get what i need. Clean and tidy and well stocked
