Woodside Nurseries

We are a family run business which was originally established in 2012 by Josh and Nat. After a ​successful first year the plan was made to move onto a small patch of land owned by Josh’s Grandparents Marlene and Dennis to allow more space to grow.

In 2014 We continued using a small greenhouse and built our way upto 5 domestic polytunnels with the help from Josh’s grandparents that had by this point retired from other employment. And still to this day put a lot of work into the nursery and smallholding.

Again we out grew this and all but restarting the business In 2015 with the transition to the 3 much larger commercial tunnels you can see today. As the business grew so did our team, Aaron, Josh’s younger cousin joined Woodside and has since been a valued member on all fronts, working within the nursery, smallholding and offsite gardening work. Bringing us to present times, we are still a small family run business that now has the help of other families members and some Seasonal voluntary help. Most notably of these is Josh’s Aunt, Dawn, who works as a crucial part time member, especially during potting season!
