Ilkeston is town in Borough of Erewash, Derbyshire on the River Erewash, from which the borough takes its name. The town is close to both Derby and Nottinghamshire.
It's major industries were coal mining, iron working and lace making, but have now all disappeared. Stanton Ironworks was on of the largest employers Known and Stanton and Staveley, continuing a long- standing tradition of iron working and pipework. Its now a Market town with the market place still the site of the Charter Fair which celebrated its 765th anniversary in 2018. This makes the fair older than Nottingham's Famous Goose fair and is one of the largest fairs in the Country, indeed in Europe.

Karla is amazing and very thorough, nothing is too much trouble and if she is unsure she will always point you in the right direction. We didn't have to lift a finger and her advice is 2nd to none.
