She keeps up to date with changes in legislation through Continued Professional Development and membership of "Cambridge Occupational Safety Group"(COSG), "Peterborough Environmental & Occupational Safety & Health" (PEOSH) " Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment" (PIEMA), "Institution of Occupational Health & Safety" (CMIOSH) and "International Institute of Risk & Safety Management" (MIIRSM) and Institute of Risk Management (SIRM).

YourSafetyWorks carry out risk assessment, training, inspections & audits, produce tool box talks, investigate accidents and are available as Competent Person for your organisation.

The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 under Reg (7) requires each employer to appoint one or more competent persons to assist in health and safety management.

You probably manage most aspects of your business yourself but if you are not confident of your ability to manage all health and safety in-house, you may need some external help or advice.

Michelle can provide that resource as and when required, and you are entitled to designate Michelle as your "Competent Person".

Michelle is registered on the "Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register" (OSHCR).

This Register (OSHCR) is a HSE administered listing only consultants who have met a certain standard within their professional bodies.

Michelle will help identify the Health and Safety issues within your organisation and develop your health and safety Management system. Audits can be carried out on a stand-alone basis or can be part of the Health and Safety "Competent Person" service that YourSafetyWorks can provide.
